Mike started his career in the investment industry in 1993 and founded H.L. Wiginton Capital Management in 2010. He holds the series 24, 7 and 66 licenses. His education includes graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Accounting from Samford University and earning his M.B.A with a concentration in Finance from the University of Georgia. Mike is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charter holder. In addition to traditional equity and fixed income markets, he is an experienced investor across multiple asset classes including direct real estate, private equity and the operation of private business. He routinely advises his clients on their interest in these areas. Mike is a member of the CFA institute, CFA society of Alabama and formerly served as a director on the board for Security Federal Bank for 13 years. 

Tom Ferrell, CFP®

Tom has over 19 years of experience in the investment industry. He holds the series 6,7, and 65 licenses. Tom is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He graduated from the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. Throughout Tom's career he has specialized in wealth management, retirement planning and income distribution strategies. Tom currently lives in Jasper with his wife Jennifer. Together they have two sons, Hunter and Luke.

Kristi Alexander

Kristi joined H.L. Wiginton Capital Management, LLC in 2017. She received a Double Major from the University of Alabama, Birmingham with a B.S. degree in Business Management and Industrial Distribution. She currently oversees aspects of the team client support services. Kristi lives in Jasper with her husband Brian. Together they have two sons, Reed and Brodie. Outside of work, Kristi enjoys spending quality time with her family and being involved in her community.

Luke attended the University of Alabama graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Value Investing. He joined H.L. Wiginton Capital Management, LLC in 2021. Luke is fully registered and licensed and ready to help his clients with all their financial needs.
